Proverbs 11:30

Everyone loves a winner.  The luminaries of today, like those in the past such as David and Joshua, are lauded, praised and celebrated.  Solomon, through Proverbs, seeks to instruct and encourage the reader towards success by seeking wisdom and avoiding foolishness.
The Importance Of Lifestyle Evangelism/Discipleship. The Apostle Paul wrote “follow me as I follow Christ.”  This illustrates that your life’s example is just as impactful as your words.  Most people would rather see a sermon by your life than hear a sermon.  They may doubt your words, but have to concede your life’s example.

Winning Souls Requires Courage
. Winning implies combat against the enemy.  Winning souls suggests capturing their minds and confronting society’s sinful influence to preserve their lives.  The courage shown by Jesus and the Apostles is still required of us to save the lost and dying.

Losing Is Not An Option
. Attitude influences outcome; a negative, defeatist attitude will promote apathy and inaction.  A positive attitude aligns with faith that God can make good things happen even if we never see the results.  The consequences of a lost soul are eternal.
