Its That Time

Its That Time

It’s That Time

Galatians 4:4, Genesis 1:14

Over the next few weeks, ministers of Christ will proclaim from the pulpit “Joy to the world, the Lord is come.”  In fact, the word ‘advent’ means come or arrival, signifying the season of God’s gift of salvation to the world.

A New Time & Season Is Usually Introduced With Little To No Notice.

Mary had no prior warning that her life as an espoused virgin would be radically changed by the angel Gabriel’s announcement.  Her humility and faith allowed God’s granting humanity the saving grace through Jesus.  Job had no warning that Satan would persecute him for a season.  His example of faith during loss of family, wealth and health would comfort millions through the ages.

He Hastens The Pace Of Events In Our Lives
.

For Mary, one moment she was to be married, then she was with child of the Holy Spirit, then Joseph took her to be his wife, then they had to travel to Bethlehem to pay the tax Caesar Augustus decreed, and finding no room in the inn, finally gave birth on a bed of hay.  She had to be baffled and confused, but the same One who plotted out the birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection of His Son, is the same One who plotted out our lives.

Allow God To Shift Your Focus & Attention
.

We are on earth as it rotates on its axis and orbits the sun, yet we don’t feel the movements.  God is also moving though much of the time we don’t feel His plans moving forward.  But then the time comes when God allows us to both feel and participate in His plans.  When we say yes to God, there will be times when our lives move at a faster pace than others.  We need to step up and step forward.

When IT’S THAT TIME, IT’S THAT TIME
