Psalms 127:1-5
Father’s Day brings mixed reactions, with some proud and pleased fathers, and with some perplexed and burdened fathers. Some are in deep pain, sometimes self-inflicted, sometimes not. Either way, a Father’s Day gift from God is perspective. How you see your life greatly determines how you live your life.
The Motivation Of God’s Undertaking Is His Fatherly Love.
The Lord provides protection and provision, but without Him we are doomed without that care. Earthly fathers are God’s human agents to secure the welfare of their children. It is critical for fathers to have the right perspective, God’s perspective, to be able to best provide the educational, spiritual and financial well-being for their families.
The Father Must Create A Spiritual Culture In The Home.
Life has purpose and promise. We are made in the image of God. Fathers have the responsibility for instilling that as a proper spiritual identity and heritage in their children to ground them as they learn and grow into maturity.
