Robert Wingfield

Dr. Robert A. Wingfield, "Pastor Bob" is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Woodstream Church.

As a result of his mother’s influence and listening to Christian radio, Pastor Bob came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in March 1979 at the age of 19. God gave Pastor Bob a vision of one day building and pastoring a Baptist church.

While participating in an evangelistic outreach ministry at Riverdale Baptist Church and knocking on doors in the Landover area, he again was burdened with the desire to start a church. Being an obedient servant, he founded Woodstream Church. Under his leadership, Woodstream has experienced phenomenal and sustained spiritual growth. 

A native Marylander, Pastor Bob graduated from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and the University of Maryland. In 1983, he was licensed to the gospel ministry by Riverdale Baptist Church. In 2008, he was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
