Assimilation Fellowship
The purpose of the Assimilation Fellowship is to make your personal acquaintance, to introduce you to the ministries of Woodstream, and to assist you in assimilating successfully into the church. At this meeting you will be introduced to the Deacon Family Life Ministry and your assigned deacon. Contact: Minister Don Simmons.
Discovery I
To provide important information regarding Woodstream’s leadership, history, ministries, and programs to new members.
Supporting women with Chronic or life changing illnesses. Contact: Peggy Johnson.
Joy in the Morning
To provide support for women in various stages of bereavement. Contacts: Michele McMorris and Joyce Pierre.
Lighthouse Ministries
To serve all new members who join Woodstream in the way of guiding them through their first few months at Woodstream. Contacts: Deacon Thomas Calhoun and Deacon Charles Barnes.
Network (Discovery II)
Network provides information that leads members to discover what their spiritual gifts, passions and personal styles are and to connect them to ministries of services in the church.
Small Groups
To build believers who finish strong. This ministry equips participants to make a difference by coming together in groups of 12 or fewer people once a week to study the Bible and hold each other accountable to obey the Word of God. Contact: Minister Cedric Brown.
Special Families 4 Special Children A ministry to develop communication among parents and to offer supportive information to those who have similar concerns, including: diagnosis and treatment, medical procedures and the availability of local resources. Contact: Deacon Hiram and Pat Jennings.
Women's Inductive Bible Study
An inductive Bible study method that brings you directly to the Word of God apart from another’s understanding or interpretation of the text. It involves three skills: observation, interpretation, and application. Contact: Kai Shanks.
