We want to introduce you to the identity, ministry, and resources of Woodstream Church. It is our hope that you would not only visit us, but experience what God is doing in and through us to glorify Himself.
What Type of Church is Woodstream?
Woodstream Church is an independent, fundamental, Baptist Church.
Key Point: It is a Pastor-led church, in which the Pastor serves as an under-shepherd and overseer. The Boards of Deacons & Trustees assist the Pastor in ministries of shepherding and stewardship.
Independent - Self-governing church.
- We are not affiliated with any conventions (e.g., National Baptist Convention or the Southern Baptist Convention).
Fundamental - Basics of the Bible.
- Jesus Christ was virgin Born; was crucified and died, was buried, and rose from the grave in bodily form.
- And Jesus Christ is coming again.
- The Bible is Inspired - divine influence; God-breathed
- The Bible is Infallible - dependable; incapable of failing
- The Bible is Inerrant - no errors
- The Bible is Immutable - unchanging; unchangeable
Baptist - Immersion in water after salvation.
We are not a branch of a mother church, nor dependent on any other church.
