Welcome to Woodstream Sports Ministry
The purpose of the Woodstream Sports Ministry (WSM) is to serve the community by promoting exercise, healthy competition, Christ like sportsmanship, evangelism, and discipleship. The ministry maintains that every believer should take every opportunity to work hard, as working for the Lord, not for Man (Colossians 3:23). This ideal should be applied to all aspects of our lives, even sports.
WSM will work in correlation with the Woodstream Health Ministry and other ministries who are serving the body by way of health education. WSM will "Build Up The Body" by challenging the body of Christ to build up their God given temples in 2012.
Our current sports activites for 2012 are as follows:
- Basketball
- Bowling
- Golf
- Kickball (Team Registration)
- Softball (League Registration)
When other sports activities become available, they will be added.
