Missions

The Missions Ministry raises the awareness, passion, commitment, and participation in missions work at Woodstream Church. It encourage members to participate in short-term mission trips, correspond with missionaries, and support missionaries with prayers and special needs. The Ministry also hosts missions conferences every two years, highlights a missionary every month, publishes a missions newsletter, and sends full-time missionaries to various counties.  

Our Mission 

• To be a blessing to all citizens of the world (Genesis 12:1-3).
• To fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-49, John 20:21).
• To bring all peoples to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:13-15, 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, John 20:21).

Our Goals

• To prepare, equip, and support our home and cross-cultural missionaries.
• To create opportunities for members to get involved in mission work.
• To identify, train, counsel, and send out long-term missionaries.
