Purpose
The purpose of the Girls of CHARACTER Ministry is to disciple girls and equipping them in making sound and biblical choices, and providing godly instruction in the areas of Christian character, acquiring life skills, etiquette, and future goals.
Goals
It is our goal to minister to each girl and provide them with the necessary skills needed to face the peer pressures the world has made so readily available to them. Utilizing Godly principles, God will use this ministry to ultimatelydevelop them into respectful, prayerful, chaste, young ladies of extraordinary biblical character.
Discipleship
The GOC Discipleship Program consists of 10 sessions. The monthly meetings are held at the Woodstream Church from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. During this time, there is praise and worship, scripture and prayer, the theme of the day and “Character Stations”, where in-depth teaching takes place. Following the Character Stations, there is a “Hands on Craft” project followed by a “Cross Talk” session.
